According to Bloomberg Markets, Royal Bank of Canada President and CEO, Gordon Nixon, is among the most overpaid bank CEOs in North America. Now we know what the RBC did with the profits made from hiring cheap temporary foreign workers, and from the Harper government’s secret $114 billion bailout during the 2008-10 global financial crisis.

Stung by the Temporary Foreign Workers Program scandal, the Royal Bank of Canada says it’s no longer in the deplorable business of outsourcing Canadian jobs to foreign workers. But only, it seems, when “a worker eligible to work in Canada is available and able to perform the service.”
