Conservatives have a very well defined hierarchy of idiocy. The National Post is about midway down the pack, excelling at Disingenuous, Lacks Moral Clarity and Will Do Anything to Further a Conservative Meme. Not to mention the bottom of the pack for Empathy.
Then you have Sun Media. It’s right there in the basement, yellow toothed and mangy, with virtually nothing in its favour. Especially today when the tabloid Fox News wannabe publishes a widely-denounced ad put together by flaming homophobe Charles McVety. This after its race-to-the-bottom rival NatPo withdrew such ad last week, fumbled with an apology (righties just aren’t that good with apologies) and issued an apology to the apology.
You see with the Sun, it’s all about free speech. Not like the National Post, which talks a lot about free speech but recoils when it gets bit on its scrawny butt. Sun Media is made up of sterner stuff. It’s bursting with free speech warriors who battle like crusaders to keep the channels of intolerance, hate and violence open. Especially when it involves the rights of gays, women, pleasure seekers, immigrants, Natives, the poor, scientists, teachers, firemen, nurses and easily over 70 percent of Canadians.
Then there’s the Blogging Tories. You can’t descend any further than that. Oh dear, check out yesterday’s headline from “Canada’s Littlest Racist”:

Note how the lovely Kathy’s punctuation is perfection. Nice! Strange how she gets the little details but has no idea about the big picture. So very Conservative.
